- Assistant Registrar: Master's in Mass Communication with 55% marks & 5 years experience. Age: Max 40 years.
- Medical Officer (Male): MBBS Degree with 3 years of hospital experience. Age: Max 40 years.
Group B Posts
- Personal Assistant: Bachelor's Degree, Stenography @100 wpm, Typing @35 wpm, and 2 years experience. Age: Max 35 years.
Group C Posts (Selected)
- Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Bachelor's Degree, 2 years LDC experience, Typing @35 wpm. Age: Max 32 years.
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Bachelor's Degree, Typing @35 wpm. Age: Max 32 years.
- Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor's in Science/Engg./Tech with 2 years experience. Age: Max 32 years.
Selection Process
Shortlisting & Selection Tests
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on higher qualifications and experience over the minimum prescribed.
- The selection process may include a Written Test, Skill Test, and/or Interview, as applicable for the post.
- The final selection will be based on the candidate's record and performance in the applicable selection tests.
How to Apply (Online + Hardcopy Submission)
- Step 1 (Online): Apply online through the Samarth Portal at `https://cuknt.samarth.edu.in/`. Fill the application, upload all required documents, and pay the fee.
- Step 2 (Print): After final submission, take a printout of the completed online application form.
- Step 3 (Send Hardcopy): Send the signed printout along with self-attested photocopies of all testimonials and certificates by post.
- The envelope must be superscribed with "Application for the post of _____" and sent to: The Deputy Registrar, Recruitment Cell, Central University of Karnataka, Kadaganchi, Aland Road, Kalaburagi District- 585367.

1. Is only applying online sufficient for this recruitment?
No. After submitting the application online through the Samarth portal, you must also send a printed hardcopy of the form along with all self-attested enclosures by post to the university address before the specified deadline.
2. I am an OBC woman candidate. Do I need to pay the application fee?
No, all women candidates, regardless of their category, are exempted from paying the application fee.
3. If I meet the minimum qualifications, will I be called for the test/interview?

4. Can I apply for both the LDC and UDC posts?
Yes, you can apply for more than one post. However, you must submit a separate online application, pay a separate fee for each post, and also send separate hardcopy application sets for each post.
5. I am currently a government employee. What is the procedure for me?
You must apply online and send the hardcopy of your application through the proper channel, forwarded by your current employer. It is advisable to send an advance copy directly to meet the deadline, but the 'through proper channel' copy must also reach the university.
6. How will I know if I am shortlisted for the next stage?
